Yesterday, as I was reading through an old Vogue, I came across a Miu Miu ad. Of course I know Miu Miu is the "less expensive" clothing line form the Prada fashion house, however my mind did something that surprised me immensely. What happened was that instead of saying to myself Miu Miu (Me-ooh Me-ooh), I said M-I-U M-I-U. I seriously can't believe this happened to me, this is what happens when I derail myself from fashion a few months.

Who would believe I still remember perfectly the Fall 2005 ad with Selma Blair and Evan Rachel Wood.

After getting April's Teen Vogue in the mail earlier this week I was pretty excited to see Emma Roberts on the cover. However, after detailing the cover and looking at her pictures, I noticed she looked extremely old.

Even though the theme of the photoshoot was "inspired by early photographs of Marilyn Monroe and the glitz and glamour of the French Riviera" Teen Vogue failed to evoke the youth in Emma. Instead of looking like her eighteen year old self, Emma looked older than my middle aged mother.

Here are some pictures:

Nevertheless, Emma looked beautiful and I absolutely loved what she said about Nick Jonas:
"I used to have a crush on Nick Jonas, but he's kind of making his rounds in Hollywood, and I don't know if I like that".

What did you think about Emma's interview, and the April issue itself?

Well I'm new to this fashion blogging phonomenom, well actually I'm not that new.

About two years ago I discovered a little fashion blog and began to read it religiously, that blog introduced me to many more blogs and I quickly became addicted to the fun, quirky, adolescent fashion musings. During that time I debated whether or not I should start a blog of my own. After much thought, I decided I was too young and not outspoken enough to create a fashion blog of my own.

After two years, five boyfriends, several fashion mistakes, and numerous hours of boredom, I finally made the decision of creating my own fashion blog.

Well the point is: Welcome to my blog!
I am a weird person, that is extremely passionate about fashion. When I really think about it, music and fashion are really the only two things I truly love. Since I found out I'm pretty much talentless when it comes to normal things such as dancing, singing, playing sports etc., I simply knew that fashion aside from being my passion might also be my hidden talent.

I hope to eventually grow into an amazing blogger, but right now, I'm just a novice.

Until next time, Lauren.
